Home Sweet Home
We're home from our Spring Trip.
Today we woke up to 54 degrees in Thackerville, Oklahoma at WinStar Casino RV park. It got to 74 degrees in Belton, Texas. It was overcast all day, which kept it cool.
I woke up about the same time as Larry, 5:40 am. We wanted to get an early start because we had to drive through Fort Worth, Texas. I got dressed and we put everything away and secured. Larry unplugged us and we were on the road by 6:15 am.
Larry drove 205 miles using mainly I35 until we got to Bruceville-Eddy. There we took a two lane highway home. When we got to Fort Worth traffic was heavy and busy. It was about 7:30 am. I was glad Larry was driving. Once we were out of Fort Worth traffic lighten up. We were home by 10:15 am.
Once at home we unloaded the Minnie. Larry turned on the water to the house. Some of our home devices were down. Larry had to figure out why. It took him a bit but he solved the problem. After unloading the Minnie we took the motorcycle off it's carrier and put it in the garage. Then we took the carrier off the Minnie and put it in the garage. After doing this project we went to town to start our mail at the post office and the UPS Store. We stopped by Walmart and picked up a few things we needed.
When we got back home. Larry sorted through our mail. Then he changed Elvira Scared Stiff to three balls because it's my weekly pinball challenge for this week. I played it but couldn't take a picture because the score didn't stay on the screen long enough. I'll play it again tomorrow.
We watched some of the YouTube videos we follow.
I played my games. I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Klondike and 3 Spider). It took me 15 minutes and 13 seconds to complete, which put me in 9th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.
In the evening we watched a movie called Mansfield Park on Hoopla. It was a good movie about a 10 year old girl Fanny Price who was sent to her worthy uncle and aunt at Mansfield Park. She meets her cousins but always felt out of place because she came from being poor. It was taken from a novel with the same name. It's a British comedy. After Larry went to bed I watched a movie called Seven Brides For Seven Brothers. It's an old 1954 musical. I enjoyed it even though I have watched it before.
By the end of the day I had done 6,500 steps.
