Camping at City of Belleville Rocky Pond Recreation Area
It was a gorgeous day. The morning temperature in Belleville KS was 50 degrees and the high was 85 degrees.
We woke up to blue skies. I made mini waffles for breakfast. We decided to stay another night at City of Belleville Rocky Pond Recreation Area.
Before it got too warm we went on a 3.25 mile walk to the NCK(North Central Kansas) Free Fair, which was a half mile away. As we walked to the fairgrounds and park we saw a beautiful horse (we saw the owner riding it yesterday) and her friend a goat. The horse was very friendly but I didn't pet it because I wasn't sure if it would bite. There was a cute mailbox with a tin man on it.

The NCK Free Fair facility was very well maintained. The fairgrounds had the High Banks Midget/Sprint Car Race Track, Horse Barn, Cattle Barn, Kiddie Barn and vendors buildings. Next to the NCK Free Fair is a city park, which has a playground, splash park, swimming pool (two levels one with a big slide and swimming area and a kiddie area), basketball hoops, Horseshoe pits, baseball field, softball field, grandstand and a walkway, that goes through the park.
