Hold on tight
We had a beautiful windy cloudy Saturday. The morning temperature was 69 degrees and the high was 87 degrees. At 9:15 pm it was 80 degrees and overcast. The clouds rolled in and out. When the clouds were covering the sun it was very comfortable. But when the clouds went away it was pretty warm.
We kept busy doing this and that.
First we went to Temple High School to attend a car show called Temple Education Foundation Car Show. The proceeds go towards the students scholarships for Temple ISD. Each registration for the show helps fund the scholarships. We attended it last year and had a great time so we went back at 10:00 am. Some of the cars were there last year and some were new. It was a very nice size show. We walked around for about 45 minutes and we saw a lot of beautiful vehicles.

A Belair

A superman car
After walking around the car show we went to Panera Bread. We shared a Roasted Italiano sandwich and a bag of chips. The sandwich was good. Then we went home.
Larry did a few maintenance projects on the Minnie. He parked the Minnie on the side of the house to do the projects. First he changed the oil and oil filter. Then he cleaned out the oil pan. Second he dumped the tanks. He decided to flush out the tanks and put Calgon and dawn in the tanks to clean them. Finally he boiled water and put it down the two kitchen sinks and bathroom sink. Then he poured baking soda and vinegar down the sinks. Then he boiled more water and poured it down the sinks. We do this to our drains in the house when they start to smell. The baking soda and vinegar breaks down the food, soap and other stuff, that goes down the drains. The vinegar creates a chemical reaction with the baking soda. The smell goes away. I vacuumed the Minnie inside to get it ready to go back to storage. It should now be ready four our next trip (end of August).
The Minnie is getting on in years and mileage, she is now 30 years old and has 170,000 miles. She does require a bit of maintenance but then again all RV's require maintenance. We do almost all the maintenance ourselves, it saves money and we trust our work more than others. Of course some things have to be done by repair shops, especially if we are on the road. We have been really fortunate (lucky) to find good shops to do repairs while travelling.
Mileage we have on the Minnie (170,004.4)
I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: World Tour Mini of 10 games. It took me 35 minutes and 35 seconds to complete, which put me in 7th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.
I played 10 games of pinball. I played five on the mini cabinet, which were Batman Forever, Fun House, JP Space Cadet, Playboy and The Goonies. While playing Playboy I became high score #5 and I played Mansion Mania and entered my initials on both boards. I played five games on the big cabinet, which were Big Bang Bar, Dracula, Fish Tales, Tales From the Crypt and The Big LeBowski. I didn't get a new high score for the weekly challenge on Tales From the Crypt but I did enter my initials as high score #4. I had a good day of playing pinball.

We watched YouTube videos.
In the evening we watched the last two episodes of season 2 of Dalgleish on PBS. We thought it was a new season of Dalgleish but we had already seen it. It was still good the second time around. When Larry went to bed I watched Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Stuart Little from our movies collection. I ended up doing 3,500 steps.
Relaxing in front of the television
I worked on the puzzle while watching television.
