Tuesday 5-19-26 Liberty Hill Dance , Di Green A2 Dance & More

Awesome day of dancing

We had an awesome day. The morning temperature was 67 degrees and the high was 93 degrees. We had wind and front came in at 8:30 pm. The front brought thunder and lightening and a stead rain.

We started the day out by attending Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly A2 for an hour. Di called the whole dance and Terry danced with her. As she called she cued through out the dance. She called to 11 participants. She called five tips but we only stayed for four of them. We had a super time dancing to Di and Terry and friends.

After leaving Di and Terry's dance we had lunch. The reason we left Di's dance early was because we decided to go to Liberty Hill to dance A2 to John Kephart. We were surprised to see Char and Glenn Larson. We talked to them and they weren't going to travel to dance this year. Char has been having problems falling. Over the past couple of years she has fallen three times, she broke one shoulder, then the other and then her hip. Larry asked if they would be interested in dancing C1 to tapes. They said they would. He also talked to Lynn, who dances C1 but she's going on a cruise for a couple weeks. She would be more than happy to dance C1 when she gets back. Larry has a project to do to get the C1 tapes ready for the dance next week.

John called for two hours to two squares and three extra dancers. He used cards so everyone had a chance to dance. We danced the whole dance. We hadn't danced with this groups of dancers in over two months because and had fun. Kay and Bob are always a pleasure to see and talk to. We appreciate their hospitality. Bob said he would be happy to let us dance C1 an hour before the A2 dance.

Liberty Hill is 60 miles from our house and it takes an hour and fifteen minutes to get there. We left the house at 11:20 am and didn't get home until 4:15 pm. It was a long day.

Get a partner and dance

I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Easy Street of 30 games. It took me 1 hour, 17 minutes and 4 seconds to complete, which put me in 23rd place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

I played four games of pinball, which were three on the mini cabinet (Metallica, Pirate's Life and The Godfather) and one game on the big cabinet (Theatre of Magic). While playing Pirate's Life and The Godfather I became high score #1. I had a super time playing pinball.

Metallica (mini)

Pirate's Life (mini)

The Godfather (mini)

Theatre of Magic (big)

In the evening we watched a movie on Hoopla called Rose Hill. It was 1997 western starring Jennifer Garner as Mary Rose. It was about four boys, who lived on the street and recued an infant baby girl and raised her as a sister. It was an ok movie. After Larry went to bed I watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets from our movies collection.

While watching television I worked on my jigsaw puzzle. I ended up doing 5,000 steps.
