Friday 5-22-26 Tape Projects, Workout, Dancing with Ett & More

Do the happy dance

Smile it's Friday. We had an overcast day with the morning temperature of 67 degrees and the high was 85 degrees.

Larry continued editing and bookmarking the square dancing tapes for our Liberty Hill dance.

In the morning while I was playing some of my games about 9:00 am we had a pleasant surprise. Larry looked out the back window and saw a fawn curled up by our septic tank. It looked like it wasn't even a hour old. It stayed there until around noon. Mom kept an eye on it. She would disappear for a little bit and then come back to check on the fawn. When she finally finished grazing she came back for the fawn. The fawn was so excited it ran to her and ate a little until mom said that was enough. Then they walked away. I took pictures from the security camera because I didn't want to scare the doe and fawn away.

Today is National Solitaire Day so Microsoft celebrated it by tripling your score for any Solitaire games you play. I did the Daily Challenges Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was National Solitaire Day of 10 games. It took me 29 minutes and 50 seconds, which put me in 25th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

I worked out on the Wii Fit for 45 minutes and Synth Riders for a half hour.

While working out with the Wii Fit I did 10 minutes of Balance doing Penguin Slide (4 minutes), Ski Slalom (2 minutes), Ski Jump (2 minutes) and Balance Bubble (2 minutes), 13 minutes of Aerobics doing Rhythm Boxing (8 minutes) and Basic Run Island (5 minutes), 7 minutes of Strength Training doing Single-Leg Extension (2 minutes 10 reps), Torso Twist (3 minutes), Single-Leg Twist (1 minutes 10 reps) and Sideway Leg Lift (1 minute 10 reps), 10 minutes Yoga doing Half Moon (2 minutes), Warrior (2 minutes), Tree (2 minutes), Sun Salutation (2 minutes) and Standing Knee (2 minutes) and Plus Training doing Perfect 10 (5 minutes).

Our neighbor Keileigh had her graduation party tonight between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm. They asked if they could have some of the people park in our driveway. Larry said no problem. The driveway was full of vehicles three across and two deep and the vehicles were on both sides of the street. We didn't attend but I went over earlier in the afternoon to deliver the graduation card Larry made. I congratulated her on her graduation and wished her good luck in college. While there Jason said they were going on a cruise as a family to celebrate the graduation. Keileigh and her friends were going on another cruise without the adults to celebrate their graduation for 13 days. The party was very quiet we didn't even know it was going on except for the vehicles.

I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 dance at 6:30 for an hour. She called four tips to 11 participants. I hadn't danced to her since 3/3/26 and it was nice to see her again. She had been calling locally and travelling and we were gone for eight weeks.

After the dance we watched The Boy In The Striped Pajamas on Hoopla. The movie was about an eight year old son of a commandant at a German concentration camp who befriends a Jewish boy at the camp. It was a good movie until the ending. After Larry went to bed I watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Jesse Stone: Thin Ice from our movies collection. I ended up doing 4,000 steps.

I continued working on my jigsaw puzzle.
