Happy Monday. I hope everyone had a great day. We kept busy doing this and that.
The morning temperature was 62 degrees and the high was 77 degrees. The rain was gone. We had a very nice day.
Larry started the day out by doing a couple of home projects. First he he treated the yards with weed and feed. Next he sprayed for bugs. Yesterday, he put bleach in the septic system. We were gone for seven weeks and every month he puts bleach in the system. Yesterday he had to add two gallons.
Yesterday, we received an e-mail from Di Green saying she and Terry were going away for a few days. She decided to cancel her dance today. Later on she wrote and said her A2 dance will be cancel tomorrow.
Larry decided he would take me to a movie. The movie was The Sheep Detectives. We got there and there were four elementary school buses in the parking lot. We went inside and asked if this movie had all the kids in it. The lady said yes, so we left.
It was lunchtime so we stopped at Mod Pizza and shared a pizza. This was our first visit to Mod Pizza. We weren't impressed. The crust was very thin and there was very little cheese and only a few pepperonis. We ate the whole pizza. We haven't eaten an entire pizza in decades, we normally only eat half but this pizza it was not a problem. The pizza tasted ok.
I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Easy Street Mini of 15 games. It took me 31 minutes and 9 seconds, which put me in 17th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.
I played eight games of pinball. I played four games on the mini cabinet, which were Ace of Speed, Batman Forever, Dr. No and Transformers. While playing Batman Forever I became high score #6 and Transformers I became Grand Champion. I played four games on the big cabinet, which were Tales From the Crypt, The Big LeBowski, Willow and Willy Wonka. I got a new high score for the weekly challenge of Tales From the Crypt, which was 169,291,400. This score put me in 37th place out of 49 participants so far. I had a fun time.
Ace of Speed (mini)
Batman Forever (mini)
Dr. No (mini)
Transformers (mini)
Tales From the Crypt (big)
The Big LeBowski (big)
Willow (big)
Willy Wonka (big)
While I played games Larry started a paper project. It's been a long time since Larry has used his Cameo but our neighbor Keileigh is graduating from high school so he decided to make a card. He found a card he liked. He downloaded it and is customizing it. He wants to use the high school logo. He found one and modified it to work with the Cameo. It looks great. He now needs to start cutting things, he will be coordinating it with the school colors.
In the evening we watched Wicked For Good from our movies. It was a good movie and the continuation of Wicked. Then I watched Hotel For Dogs on Hoopla. It was about two orphans siblings (Andi and Bruce), who turns an abandoned hotel into a sanctuary for stray dogs. It starred Emma Roberts as Andi, Jake T. Austin as Bruce, Lisa Kudrow as their foster mother and Don Cheadle as their social worker. It was a good movie. Then I watched Beauty and the Beast out of our movies collection.
I ended up doing 3,000 steps. We had a great day.
