Friday 12-15 Good Night Sleep

We have been sleeping in the same waterbed for over thirty years. Everytime we get back from a trip it is always great to get back into the waterbed. The waterbed is heated so it's always warm. Tuesday, when Larry was turning down the sheet on the waterbed it felt a little damp. He striped off the corner of the sheet and found a leak on a seam. We got the patch kit out and tried to patch the leak but it didn't hold. We were thankful that we have an extra bedroom. Before moving to the other room Larry got on the internet and ordered a new mattress.

While we were dancing last night the mattress was delivered at the front door. Larry was excited so before doing anything else he got the mattress ready to be filled. I helped him lay the mattress in the frame. The mattress holds about 200 gallons of water so it took a while to fill. Larry filled it with warm water and stopped a couple of times in order for our water heater to catch up. A couple hours later the waterbed was ready to sleep in. Larry told me it may be a little cool to sleep on but he wasn't going to wait another day. The waterbed temperature was perfect. We had a good night sleeping back in the waterbed.

Larry spent the morning working to change how the Amazon Echo Dot plays music through the sound bar on the television. He got it to work but it is still not quite where he wants it. After the project he put all his tools away that he used on Louise's house project.

While Larry was working on the project and putting his tools away I did some Sudoku and started reading another book. The book is the second book of The Grail Quest Series written by Bernard Cornwell. It is a historic novel taking place in 1347.

Reading is fun!!!!

In the evening we watched YouTube videos and a documentary called Sunshine Hotel. The documentary was about a hotel in New York City's infamous skid row, the Bowery. It's was one of the few hotels left in 2000 that housed men only. It was a good documentary. We had a relaxing day.
