Saturday 12-16 Rainy Afternoon

A rainy afternoon

We woke up to a chilly overcast day. Larry thought the waterbed was a little cool, he asked Google what the temperature of a waterbed should be. Google said it should be between 88 and 90 degrees. Our bed was at 80 degrees so he set the thermostat up a bit, it takes a long time to warm up a waterbed, by the time we went to bed it was up to 86.

In the morning we went to town to do a couple of errands. First we stopped by the UPS Store and picked up our mail and a package that was waiting for us. Then we filled up the car with gas, we were pleasantly surprised to find gas was down to $1.98. The last stop was at Walmart to pick up a few things.

In the afternoon Larry called his sister via the Amazon Echo Dot, he said "Alexa, call Louise at home", she repeated it and asked it that was correct, he said yes and she called Louise via her Dot. Worked really well. If he had wanted to call her cell phone he could have said "Alexa, call Louise Mobile". Very cool.

Doing errands

In the afternoon we hung around the house and the rain came. I read and worked on my annual book. We watched YouTube videos, the ones we follow and music videos. 

In the evening we watched a DVD we own called Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them. We had a very relaxing day.
