Doing Errands |
It's time to change the oil in the Equinox. Larry usually changes the oil in our vehicles but the Equinox is still under warranty so he prefers to have Don Ringler Chevrolet take care of it. Monday he called and made an appointment for this morning at 8:30. We got there ten minutes early and they got us right in, we were out by 9:00. They changed the oil, oil filter, rotated the tires and inspected a number of other maintenance items.
The next stop was at the UPS Store to pick up some packages that were waiting for us along with our mail. Then we filled the car up with gas. The last stop was Target.
One of the packages we received was birthday gifts from Larry's mother. We're getting ready to leave for our Fall Trip and before we leave we celebrate Larry's, Louise's (his sister) and my birthdays. We will be celebrating them this weekend. Along with the gifts she also sent goodies: fudge, peanut brittle and chocolate chip cookies. We snacked on these throughout the day. Last month Larry selected a Kwikset Smart Code 913 Touch Pad Electronic Deadbolt from the Seeds Program. When we got home he installed it and played with it.

While he was playing with the lock he was also continuing to work on disassembling the dining room chair. It took two days but he finally got it apart. The next step is to clean and repair the pieces, he'll start that tomorrow.

While Larry was doing his projects I worked on my puzzle and did my daily challenges. I worked out for an hour and half with my Wii Fit, Gold's Gym and Just Dance programs. Then I barbecued a hamburger for Larry and a Tilapia burger for me.
In the evening we watched our YouTube videos and four episodes of the Last Tycoon. We had a busy day but we had fun.
