Thursday 8-17 Wonderful Day

What a wonderful day!!!!!!

We spent another day hanging around the house. I did my weekly housework of vacuuming and cleaning of the house. I worked on some Sudoku. Larry finished gluing the chair together.

While Larry was finishing up with the chair Louise called and said that she was having phone problems. She has been talking about getting a Smart Phone but she wasn't sure which one to get. They talked about different ones. Larry went on the internet and checked the different phones. She decided on one so Larry told her to call the Cricket Store to see if they had it and how much it would cost to buy one and to get it installed.

In the afternoon we went to Louise's house so Larry can help her with her new Amazon Dash Wand, it is like the Alexa except you push a button and say the command instead of saying Alexa and the command. We have one that I use all the time to turn on and off lights in the kitchen. It works great especially when the television is on considering the dot can get confused. When we had arrived Louise had bought a new phone and was working on figuring it out. Larry showed her a few of the features such as how to answer the phone. Then he worked on the wand to get it working. While he was doing his brother do's I played with Alice. Larry also connected her Alexa Dot to the speakers he fixed yesterday. Now she can hear the timer go off and when Alexa plays her music it sounds a lot better. By the time we left she was one happy woman, her wand was working and she had a new phone to play with.

After leaving Louise's house we went to Sun City to dance A with the Sundancers. We had six couples and two extra ladies. We had one square and six people sitting out so when one tip was over the people sitting out would rotate in the square and one of the other four couples would dance to make a square. Some of the tapes were very complex but fun. We had a super evening dancing.
