Thursday 8-10 Boating, Cleaning and Dancing

Having fun with friends

We woke up and there was no wind so we got the boat ready to go to the lake. When we arrived at Rogers Park boat ramp the lake was like glass. We could do any water sport we wanted, water skiing, wake boarding, wake surfing or air chairing but we decided not to do anything but float. We floated in the boat for a time before getting in and swimming. We were at the lake about an hour. 

When we got to the house we put the boat in the garage and hung out the vests and towels to dry. Then we vacuumed out the car.  

After lunch Larry went back to the chair project. Today he started to clean the pieces. The pieces are wood so he has to remove all the old glue. Some of the pieces he is able to use the mill to clean out the grooves, others he had to sand and scrape and sometimes he uses his Dremel tool. He worked all afternoon on cleaning the pieces, he still has a long ways to go. Some of the pieces he will have to rebuild with wood filler but that's for another day. It's a slow process but he's have fun.

While Larry was working on the chair I worked on my puzzle, talk about a slow process. But I'm not in any hurry and I'm having fun. I also cleaned the house.

In the evening Larry and Patrica came to the house so we could go to Sun City together to dance A with the Sundancers. We were shy one dancer to make three squares. We had a super night of dancing A with friends.
