Tuesday 8-15 Just Another Day

We woke up to a wind so once again we didn't go to the lake, instead we did our weekly grocery shopping. After shopping at HEB we went across the street and checked our mail. 

While reading the Sunday newspaper Larry came across a coupon for $8.99 at Great Clips. Every since we moved to Belton Larry has been getting his hair cut at Super Cuts but when he saw the coupon he decided he would give Great Clip a try. The location in Temple is right next door to The UPS Store. They weren't busy so we waited. Great Cuts has a website where you can make an appointment for your haircut, it took us awhile before they cut his hair considering a couple customers came in with an appointment they had made. After taking care of the two customers they took care of Larry. The hairstylist did a great job and she was very personable. 

We spent the rest of the day hanging around the house. Larry continued working on the chair by gluing a couple more pieces together. Before he glued the pieces he had to do a little machine work on one of the pieces so it fit correctly.

The next project was to install the Kwikset Deadbolt. Yesterday he completed staining the door where the old lock had been and he was waiting for the stain to dry before installing the deadbolt. It is a very nice deadbolt. It's easy to unlock and lock the door. When you leave the house through the front door you can now lock the door by using either the key pad or a key and when you return you can use either to unlock it. This will be nice when we take walks, we will no longer need to take a key with us. It also looks very nice.

While Larry was doing his projects I did some Sudoku. I thought about starting another puzzle but we're getting ready to go on a two month trip next week so I decided not to. I worked out for forty-five minutes on my Wii Fit and a half hour on Gold's Gym. I watered my flower. It is getting bigger.

In the evening we watched our YouTube videos and a movie off of Amazon called Cowgirls 'n' Angels. It was a cute movie about a young girl being recruited by the rodeo to be a trick rider. Afterwards we started Endeavour's first episode of the first season. We have already watched all three seasons of Endeavor and liked it so we decided to revisit it. Then I did my daily challenges. We had a very relaxing day.
