Friday 7-14 It's Hot

A hot day

Summertime is definitely here, it got to 102 degrees today at our house. Officially we have only had one day of 100 degrees, the average for June and July is 14 days but we have been having a lot of 98 degree days officially.  

This morning we went to town to go shopping at Academy. Larry had bought an orange short sleeve shirt there a few months ago that he really likes so he decided he wanted to buy a couple more. He was looking for more of the exact same shirt in different colors. He found some short sleeve shirts but he didn't like the netting in them, lots of folks like the netting because it allows the shirt to breathe. We walked around the men's department for awhile when we came across a small section of the exact shirt he had bought. There were only a few different colors and he really wanted bright colors considering he sometimes uses them for square dancing. He found a couple of shirts one was a blue and the other one was a yellow.

The rest of the day we stayed cool under the air conditioner. I worked on my puzzle, did a couple loads of laundry and worked on my annual book. Larry finished reading a book.

In the evening we watched our YouTube videos and the last two episodes of Inspector Lewis. Afterwards we watched a couple episodes of TED TV. Then I did my daily solitaire challenges. We had a very good day.
