Walking |
It was suppose to get up to 90 degrees so we decided to go for a walk this morning before it got too warm. We loaded Flo into the car and went to town. Yesterday, we went to the gym but after taking a month off we were a little stiff today so we decided on a walk. Our walk was on the Nolan Creek Trail. We parked at Yettie Polk Park and went south to Confederated Park, along the way I took pictures. Once at the park we turned around and went the other way to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. While walking we saw geese and ducks swimming in Nolan Creek and people enjoying the park. By the time we got back to Flo it was starting to get warm.

On the way home we swung by HEB to do a little grocery shopping. We didn't need much so it didn't take long.

Grocery Shopping |
By the time we got home it was time for lunch, after lunch I took a two hour nap. While I was napping Larry did a little Minnie Project. Larry had ordered some parts off the web for his CPAP machine so he could use it when we go on trips and don't have electricity. He received the parts today so he worked on the project, everything now works but he has a few more ideas.
While he was doing this Flo decided to go for a walk. He noticed she was gone so he got the car and looked for her. He drove down to the boat ramp and she wasn't there. He found her on her way home from down the street the other way. By the time they got back I was awake and Flo was exhausted. She slept the rest of the day.

Relaxing in front of the television |
In the evening we watched some of our YouTube videos and a movie on Amazon. The movie was called Honeydripper. It starred Danny Glover, Lisa Gay Hamilton and Yaya DaCosta. It took place in rural Alabama in 1950. It started out very slow but ended up being a good movie. Then we relaxed the rest of the evening.
