A Beautiful Day |
It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining in the morning by afternoon some clouds rolled in but at 4:00 the temperature was 97 degrees at the house and all the clouds were gone. This morning we mowed the frontyard, the backyard didn't need to be mowed this week. It took us about an hour. Larry mowed half the yard while I picked Flo's droppings up. I got the weedeater out and started weedeating the yard when he told me he would did it. So I mowed the other half of the yard. Larry weedeated, trimmed and treated the yard for weeds. Afterwards Larry blew out the garage, off the porch and mower and down the drive. After we moved into the house we bought an electric blower and needed to use extension cords so we needed someway to store them. Larry bought a cool basket to hold them. It hangs on the wall, it holds two cords and when you need to use them you simply grab the end of the cord and start walking, when you are done it has a handle that you use to roll the cords back into the basket, very easy to use. By using the basket the cords are neatly stored out of the way and they are in the same place.

Doing Errands |
After doing our yardwork Larry and I went to town to do a few errands. First stop was at the vehicle registration renewal building. We got the car inspected the other day when we got the oil change so now we needed to get the new tags. We walked in the building and there was no waiting, a lady called us as soon as we got in the door. We had all the paperwork we needed so it only took about five minutes. When we were leaving there were two gentlemen waiting but they were being called right as we were walking out door. The next stop was Planet Fitness where I used the treadmill for 35 minutes and stretched a little, I wimped out on the weight machines. While I did my workout Larry read. When I finished we stopped by the UPS store for our mail and then across the parking lot to Walmart. Flo was waiting for us at the door. She had a great day, she was getting off the floor easier today, After lunch I took a two hour nap.

Dancing the last tip with friends |
In the evening we went to Killeen to dance with the Kickers. Today they danced at the First United Methodist church. We have been doing weekend square dancing trips so we haven't danced with them in a long time. They had two squares which was a surprise considering the last few time we danced with them they had five. Dan Clairmont did a great job of calling and Christina Wiggins did a good job of cuing the line dancing. I danced five of the six tips and all the line dances. We had a fun time dancing and socializing with our Killeen Kicker friends.
