7-17 Just Another Day at Home

Home Sweet Home

We spent another day hanging around the house. Larry finished his book A Friend of Lincoln. He didn't like it as well as the first one he read by Stephen Harrigan. It's funny how you can read a novel by an author and like it and you can read another one and not like it as well. I worked on my jig saw puzzle and played computer games. I worked out for an hour with The Gold's Gym and Just Dance 2016 programs. In the evening we watched a couple of movies. The first one was a documentary called I am not a Rock Star. This movie was about the hard work a teenage girl did to become a good pianist. It was very good and at times it made you laugh. The second movie was a comedy about a mother, who is a maid for a rich family and raised their son. It was called The Second Mother. It was a good movie except it was in Spanish and you had to read subtitles. It was hard to keep up with the subtitles at times. While we were watching television we looked out the back window and saw a young fawn running across the backyard to the three does that were grazing. We don't see it that often but when we do it makes us smile. It just a wonderful thing to see. We had another relaxing day.
