7-18 Swimming and Dancing

Square Dancing is fun
This morning we took Flo swimming in Nolan Creek, we were there for about a half hour. Flo and I walked around the area while Larry read the newspaper. There was a father and his young son fishing, it is always nice to see a father and son hanging out together. Flo did a lot of sniffing and swimming. After she finished her swim Larry dried her off and loaded her into the car. Next we stopped at the Temple Library to return the book we checked out on Friday and picked up a couple written by Taylor Stevens. Larry read one of her books awhile back and he liked it so he decided to get the next two books. The first one was called The Informationist, it is the first book of a series with the main character being Vanessa Monroe. Vanessa is a loner and has grown up overseas and has combat training who helps solve crimes. The idea behind the main character was obviously copied from the Girl In The Dragon Tattoo. After leaving the library we stopped for gas, paid $1.83 a gallon. Gas had gone back up to just over $2 and has slowly been coming back down. When we travel with the RV for weeks at a time fuel is always our biggest expense, too bad we won't be doing any of those long trips this year. While hanging around the house in the afternoon I worked out for a half hour with Just Dance and worked on my puzzle. Larry started reading The Innocent, Flo slept and went outside to sun a couple of times. After dinner Larry and I met up with Louis to go to our "A" square dancing lessons. We had two squares and learned a few new moves. The goal is to be done with all the A1 moves in three weeks, this should be achievable considering we only have seven more moves to learn. In September we will begin A2. We had a great lesson.
