Freezing Cold Day
We had a freezing cold day. We woke up with the temperature of 14 degrees and it only got 24 degrees. To top it off there was a strong wind out of the north. It snowed lightly for a couple of hours but the only accumulation was around the edges of the driveway. Our septic sprayed this morning and the water froze on the grass. Since it didn't get over freezing the ice stayed around all day.
The high for the day
Ice on the backyard grass and snow around the trees
This winter Larry put new devices on the outside hose bibs, when the temperature gets near freezing they drip water to prevent the pipes from freezing. This morning the hose bib on the side of the house where our walkway is dripped water on the walkway. It was so cold, that the water froze. We were receiving an Amazon package and Larry didn't want the driver to fall so he put a saw horse on the walkway with a sign, that said "Dangerous Ice Not Safe".
Warning about the ice
I attended two virtual square dances. First was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 10:00 for an hour. Di and Terry took turns calling five tips to 11 participants. Di worked on Spin Chain Thru and Spin Chain the Gears. I had a super time dancing with friends and to Di and Terry.
Second was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:00 for an hour and a half. Karin Rabe and Greg Moore helped Dave call the dance. The format was three tips of C1 to 9 participants, three tips of A2 to 10 participants and two trivia questions in between the A2 tips. I had a great evening of dancing to Dave, Karin and Greg and with friends.
Having fun with friends
I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Spider and 3 Free Cell). It took me 16 minutes and 18 seconds, which put me in 17th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.
I worked out with my Wii Fit for a half hour and Just Dance for a half hour (10 minutes with 2019 and 20 minutes with 2016).
Working out
I played Gunpowder Gulch twice on Bounce Arcade. I earned a silver trophy the first game and a bronze trophy the second game. During the silver trophy game I did the jailhouse breakout multi-ball twice, I cracked the safe and played the multi-ball, earned an extra ball, got extra points by hitting the wooden post and I did quick draw and deputy shoot out. I had a very great time.
I played seven games of pinball. They were Bay Watch, Dr. No, Cactus Canyon, Rambo, Red & Ted's Road Show, Scooby Doo and Superman and the Justice League. While playing Bay Watch I got a new high score, which was 924,492,790. This score moved me from 34th place to 27th out of 39 participants. When I played Dr. No I entered my initials as high score #3 and Scooby Doo as high score #4. I had a get day of playing pinball.

While I danced, worked out and played games Larry continued paper crafting.
I finished the red-headed Princess and started the blonde-headed Princess of my diamond paintings. The re-headed Princess came out looking good. I started it 2/6/25 and finished it 2/19/25, which was about two weeks.
Red-headed Princess finished
Blonde-headed Princess begins
After Dave's dance we watched Star Wars episode IV called Star Wars: A New Hope. It was the very first Star Wars made back in 1977. Hard to believe it's been almost 50 years since the movie was made.. Then I continued to watch the third season of Hope Street on BritBox. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.
