Monday 2-10-25 Dancing, Errands, Housework, Pinball Project & More

Cold overcast day

It was cold all day. It only got up to 48 degrees and there was a breeze. It was overcast and the rain came in in the evening.

We started the day out by attending Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly C1 at 9:00 for an hour and fifteen minutes. This week the theme for the dance was love for Valentine's Day. I wore a red square dancing top, red pants, rose belly-dancing belt and a red flashing hat. Larry wore white pants, red shirt and a red flashing hat. The other dancers dressed up for Valentine's day. Some of the dancers had their screen background with hearts for Valentine's day. Years ago Larry bought me a bear for Valentine's, it has three hearts, each with a different saying (Be Mine, Hug Me and Love Ya). I got it out and put it on the desk for decor. Larry had also done a couple of paper projects for Valentine's Day, roses and a Cupid figure. I showed the Cupid and Di was very impressed. Di called five tips to 12 participants. The songs had a love theme to them. Larry danced four of the tips with me. We had a super time dancing to Di and Terry and with friends.

After the dance I did my housework.

When I finished we went to town. First Larry took me to Jack In The Box for lunch. We shared an order of the loaded mini tacos. Next we stopped by the UPS Store to get our mail. Final stop was the post office.

I worked out with the Wii fit for a half hour and with Gold's Gym for a half hour.

I played a game of Asteroid Out Post on Bounce Arcade. I earned a silver trophy. During the game I tried to mine the asteroids seven different times and was successful once. The game lasted 45 minutes.

I played four games of pinball, which were Theatre of Magic, Big Buck Hunter Pro, Mustang and The Champion Pub. While playing Theatre of Magic I came in high score #2 and Mustang I came in high score #3. When I played The Champion Pub I didn't get a new high score but I entered my initials as the high score in punching the bag.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Klondike and 3 Free Cell). It took me 12 minutes and 6 seconds, which put me in 18th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

I worked on the diamond painting of the Princess.

While I played games Larry continued working on the amplifiers. He ordered a soldering station that will allow him to remove components from circuit boards. It came in today. He played with it a bit. He's wants to remove Bluetooth from the old amplifiers. He hopes that by removing the chip and soldering in a few wires he can get them working. At this point they are unusable so if it doesn't work he hasn't lost anything.

In the evening we continued watching the first season of Beyond Paradise. Then I finished watching the first season of The Coroner and one episode of the second season. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 2nd place in my group. This is good beginning for the weekly challenge of 125,000 steps.
