Sunday 2-9-25 New Project, New Challenge & Games

A cold front rolled in today with the temperature in the morning at 6:00 of 50 degrees and the high of 56 degrees. It's suppose to be cold for a few days. There was a wind out of the north.

For the last week or so when are playing pinball on the cabinets we would loose the sound. Each of the cabinets have 3 amplifiers, in the large cabinet two of the amplifiers are Bluetooth capable and you can't disable it. Larry thinks some device (probably from the neighbors) is connecting to them. We have to reboot the pinball cabinet to get the sound back. It is becoming more frequent. Larry decided to change them out with amplifiers that don't have Bluetooth. The new amplifiers arrived yesterday. He had to build a bracket to hold them in and install them. One of the new amplifiers is not working correctly but he figured out a way to use it. After a lot of adjusting the games once again sound terrific. Unfortunately something is wrong with that main amplifier so he is not yet done. 

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Hard Road Mini of 10 games. It took me 54 minutes and 49 seconds, which put me in 11th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

I continued working on the red-headed Princess diamond painting.

I worked out on Wii Fit for 45 minutes and a half hour on Synth Riders.

I played Gunpowder Gulch three times in Bounce Arcade. During the third game I earned a silver trophy and played Jailhouse Breakout Multiball and Safe Break Multiball. The game started out very bad but it ended out very good.

Today is the beginning of  a new week so I got a new weekly challenge in pinball, which is The Champion Pub. Larry downloaded and installed it on the cabinet in both 2D and VR. I didn't play last week's challenge Monster Bash today. I ended up in 49th place in my group of 64 participants. I played The Champion Pub and got the high score of 9,877,810, which put me in 9th place in the group. Then I played three other pinball games, which were Theatre of Magic, Creature From the Black Lagoon and The Big Lebowski. While playing Theatre of Magic I got the #3 high score and playing The Big Lebowski I got the #2 high score.

In the evening we started to watch the first season of Beyond Paradise on BritBox again. It's a detective series that was a spinoff from Death In Paradise. Then I continued watching the first season of The Coroner. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 6th place in my group for the week with a total of 126,425 steps.
