Sunday 2-2-25 Happy Sunday, Doing Errands, Crafting and Games

Sunny Day

We had a beautiful day with a lot of sunshine and the high of 76 degrees.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Pyramid Mini of 10 games. It took me 33 minutes, which put me in 16th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

Larry had a little free time so he did a bit of paper crafting. He made a greeting card. He enjoys paper crafting.

I worked on my diamond painting of the Fairy.

Today starts another week so I have a new weekly pinball challenge. The challenge is Monster Bash. We already have the game so Larry just changed the number of balls from 5 to 3. Before last weeks challenge ended at 1:00 I played it one more time. The challenge was Red & Ted's Road Show. I got a new high score of 376,781,440, this put me in 55th place out of 69 participants. After the challenge ended Larry reset the balls from 3 back to 5. My beginning high score of Monster Bash was 26,323,580, which put me in 6th place out of 8 participants. This is a great beginning.

I played another three pinball games on the big cabinet. They were Scooby Doo, Terminator 3 and Spider-Man. When playing Scooby Doo I was high score player #3, Spider-Man high score player #4 and Terminator 3 high score player #3. I played three games on the mini cabinet. They were James Bond 60th Anniversary, James Bond Dr. No (two players) and Mission Impossible. The 60th Anniversary game I came in high score #1, Dr. No (player 1 high score #1 player 2 high score #3) and Mission Impossible I didn't get on the board. I had a great afternoon of playing pinball.

After lunch we went to town to do a few of errands. First was to Great Cuts so Larry could get a haircut. We got a coupon in the mail and Larry needed a haircut. Great Cuts has an app that allows you to check in before arriving, you can then see how long the wait time is and where you are in the queue. We had a half hour wait so we didn't leave until a few minutes before the appointment. When we got there they took Larry right in. Afterwards we went to the storage center to take the Minnie for a ride. Larry tries to do this once a month to make sure everything stays in working condition. He also runs the generator. Everything worked great. The last stop was Today's Car Wash to wash the car. It was filthy. When we were in the Valley we drove it in the rain and mist. After it went through the wash we wiped it down. Today's Car Wash supplies the rags to wipe your vehicles, which makes it easier to do and very nice of them.

In the evening we hung around the house and watched television. On Sunday nights we normally go to Sun City to dance with the Sundancers but tonight's dance was cancelled, the caller, Gary Bible wasn't felling well. I had already made Krusteaz Lemon Bars to take with us. While hanging around the house we munched on them. We finished watching Vera's final season. Then we started to watch a series on BritBox called The Responder. We thought it would be good because it starred Martin Freeman. It's a British cop series that takes place in Liverpool. It was very slow moving and depressing. We only watched one episode and probably won't continue watching. After Larry went to bed I started to watched the 12th season of Father Brown, there are two episodes available to watch. I started to watch the 9th season of Shetland on BritBox. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 6th place in my group for the week. My total steps for the week was 126,283.
