Happy Birthday Shirley

 

Today was Shirley's (Larry's mom) 87th birthday. We sent her purple flowers for her birthday, they were delivered to her house in Tucson yesterday. Larry called her tonight. She loved the flowers, purple is her favorite color. The company says the flowers are cut fresh and treated with a unique preservation technology, keeping the fresh appearance and tactile impression for at least 1 year.

We had another cold day. We woke up to temperatures in the teens and it only got to 35 degrees. The sun did make an appearance for a little bit, which melted the ice on our walkway. This cold weather is suppose to be around for a few more days.

Larry finished a paper project yesterday so today he started a jukebox project. He has been wanting to add a couple more buttons to the red Rock Ola. He also wants to design a lighted marquee for it. Since we stream music through the red one everyday while we do this and that around the house he took the yellow one apart to design the changes. Once he is done he will install them in the red one. Tomorrow he'll continue on this project.

I got up and had breakfast. I was sitting in Larry's Lazy Boy and couldn't keep my eyes open. Larry suggested that I go back to bed so I did. When I woke up it was time for lunch.

After lunch I worked out on the Wii Fit for a half hour and a half hour with Gold's Gym.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before going to bed. After my workout I did the event, which was Event: Easy Street of 30 games. It took me 1 hour, 14 minutes and 38 seconds, which put me in 13th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

I helped Larry put the labels on a plastic strip he had built for the jukebox.

After dinner while Larry watched his YouTube videos I played pinball. I played three games, which were Bay Watch, The Big Lebowski and The Champion Pub. While playing The Big Lebowski I entered my initials as high score #1. I had fun.

I continued working on the diamond painting of the Princess.

We watched episode V of Star Wars, which was Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Then I continued to watch the third season of Hope Street. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.
