Thursday 2-6-25 Pinball Cabinet Project, Diamond Painting & Games

 

Awesome Day

The day started out with overcast skies. Early afternoon the sun came out. It got up to 80 degrees and the humidity was 61%. 

Larry spent most of the day working on making virtual reality rooms for eight games; Superman and the Justice League, The Godfather, Mission Impossible, The Big Lebowski, Great Houdini, Dead Pool (not Marty's) Wonka and Queen. Marty is our favorite developer of pinball games but he doesn't make them in virtual reality. He's a one man team. Quite awhile ago Larry learned how to make Marty's games work in VR, they played great but didn't have a cabinet or VR room. Now Larry has learned how to add cabinets and VR rooms. He still learning so it takes him a bit. When he finished he asked me to play them on the big cabinet to make sure everything worked on them. He played all of them on the mini cabinet.

I played all of the pinball games he converted and they work great. The VR room is the same in all the games and they look great. While playing Superman and the Justice League I entered my initials as high score #3 and I entered my initials as high score #1 in The Big Lebowski.

In the afternoon Larry straitened up some things in the garage. When he was building the mini pinball machine it was quite cold and when he was done he hadn't put everything away. He had pieces of wood and other things sitting around. 

He also took the motorcycle for a ride. It ran great but the speedometer is not working correctly. He will have to work on it.

I did the Daily Challenge of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (5 Spider and 5 Pyramid). It took me 16 minutes and 37 seconds, which put me in 6th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

I worked out a half hour on the Wii Fit, a half hour with Gold's Gym and Synth Riders for a half hour.

I played a game of Asteroid Outpost on Bounce and earned a silver trophy and tried to mine the asteroids four times and was successful once. I had a great time playing.

I finished assembling the diamond painting of the Fairy and started another one, the new one is a stained glassed window with a lady in it. The fairy came out beautifully.

In the evening we finished watching the 13th season of Death In Paradise. Then we watched the 1st episode of season 14th, which was the Christmas Special. We're caught up with Death In Paradise on BritBox. Then I started watching 27th season of Silent Witness on BritBox. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 7th place in my group.
