Thursday 8-1 Projects and Dancing

Awesome Day

We started the day out by doing a couple of projects. A couple of months ago Larry received a Stream Labs Control Leak Detector from the Seeds Program, a few weeks after installing it he received an e-mail saying there was a recall. The company wanted him to return the unit and then they would ship a new one. He e-mailed them back explaining that the unit was installed and that if he removed it he would need to redo some plumbing and then have to redo it again when they shipped a replacement. He asked them to send the replacement first, he would then take out the old one, put in the new one and send the old one back. They agreed. It arrived yesterday so this morning Larry installed the new one. When he went to calibrate the unit it wouldn't calibrate. He called support and the lady had him try a few things and she did some things remotely, she also talked to the engineering folks, nothing worked. She suggested waiting until tomorrow to see if the system would fix itself.

Stream Labs Control Leak Detector

We have been slept on the new Sleep Number bed for a couple of nights and are quite pleased with it so today we took our old water bed down. The first thing we had to do was drain the mattress, it took hours. When the water stopped siphoning there was still water in the mattress so we started the draining back up and forced more water out. We wanted to get as much water out as possible so we could lift the mattress out of the frame. We were successful in getting more water out of the mattress than we have in the past because I was able to get the mattress out of the frame by myself. Larry was busy talking to the support for the Stream Labs Control. I put the mattress on a small appliance dolly and pushed it into the garage. Larry carried it to the side of the house. Then he cut the mattress up to dry the inside out in order to put it in the garbage can. After removing the mattress Larry disassembled the frame. We carried all the frame pieces into the garage. 

Later in the afternoon we read a little bit and studied Taminations.

In the evening we went to Sun City to dance C1 and A with the Sundancers. We had four couples for C1, enough for a square. For A we were shy one person to make two squares. We had a great evening of dancing.

When we got home we watched an episode of The Good Karma Hospital. Then I watched a few episode of Suits. We had an awesome day.
