Thursday 8-15 Getting the Minnie Ready

Getting the Minnie ready for our Fall Trip

The first thing we did today was go to the storage center to get the Minnie. We took it to the house to start getting it ready for our trip. Larry used a hydrometer to check the battery and all the cells checked out fine. We then took the Minnie to Walmart and had them test the battery with their load tester and once again it tested good. We are happy we don't need to replace the battery after all. We parked the Minnie and walked to the UPS Store to pick up our mail and a package that was waiting for us. Then we walked over to Walmart to buy a few things.

When we got home Larry changed the oil in the Minnie. It was not due but he didn't want to have to have it done while we are gone. He also lubed the chassis. Afterwards we went in the house to have lunch. We spent the rest of the afternoon inside the house keeping cool with a book.

We went to Sun City to dance with the Sundancers for their Thursday A2 and C1 dancing to tapes. This week for the C1 dancing it was only Nancy, Dan, Larry and I. We danced to two couple tapes for a little over an hour, from 5:15 to 6:25. At 6:30 we danced A2 with one person shy of three squares. We had a great night of dancing with friends.

When we got home I started streaming the first season of Frankie Drakes Mysteries. I finished watching the season of London Kills and started the second season.
