Finishing Project |
We started the day off by finishing up the bed project. Yesterday we tore the water bed down, we saved the frame and headboard. Today we used the old frame to build a stand for the headboard to sit on. Larry cut some pieces from the old frame to fit the size we needed to hold the head board. He also had to drill some holes to screw the pieces together. Once this was done we assembled the pieces and moved the stand into the master bedroom where we put the headboard on top of it. We then screwed a couple of brackets on the back of the head board to the frame. Now it's very stable. Next we moved the Sleep Number bed from the second bedroom to the master bedroom. Once we finished setting up the bed we can now sleep in our bedroom.

After the project was finished we relaxed and did a little reading.

Relax with a good book |
In the evening we drove to Cedar Park to attend the Uncommon Squares dance. The club invited Mike Seastrom to call. The format for the dance was mainstream and plus for two hours, a half hour of plus and an A1 tip, altogether almost 3 hours. The dance started out with eight squares but most of the time there were six or seven squares. The A tip had two squares. One mainstream tip Larry danced with another lady because she needed a partner. Mike called a tip with his wife Lisa. They did a super job. Mike did an outstanding job of calling and everyone had a great time dancing to him.
