Laugh and have fun |
We woke up to no wind and sunshine. We hadn't been to the lake in a week so we loaded up and headed to the lake. We launched the boat and I picked Larry up at the ramp. The lake was gorgeous so out came the water ski. As Larry was skiing down the lake a breeze came up but the lake was still smooth enough to ski. When Larry finished skiing I did a set of skiing. We rested a little bit. Then we put the Air Chair together and did a set of chairing. Afterwards we pulled the boat out and wiped it down. We had a super day at the lake.

In the package we received from Shirley was an old book that Larry had read when he was a kid. He remembered that he had really liked the book. The Shepherd of the Hills was written in the early 1900's by Harold
Bell Wright. The author has been
dead for many years and the copyright on his books has ran out. Larry really wanted to read this book again but he prefers to read on the Kindle so he
got on the internet and found the book was available via Amazon as an
e-book for free. He read the book
today. He said the book was still really good after all these years. How fun is
it to get something from the past and still enjoy it today.

Book from the past |
While Larry read The Shepherd of the Hills I read and did my weekly laundry. About 4:00 the wind came up and clouds rolled in so we decided to mow the yards. Larry mowed and I weedeated and blew out the garage and down the driveway.

In the evening we finished watching the 12th season of Poirot. Then I started watching a new detective series called London Kills off of Acorn. I like it so far.
