According to the weather report we may not need the heater after today, it's supposed to be getting into the 80's and 90's with lows around 70.
We spent the morning and afternoon dancing to Randy. In the morning it was his DBD A Workshop. We had two squares and an extra couple. Randy went over Chain Reaction, Peel and Trail and All Eight and All Four Couples Concepts. He put us in different positions and made it challenging. Before the end of the dance Randy took a head count on how many people were going to be there next week. It looked like exactly two squares. If it was below two squares he was going to cancel the workshop for the rest of the season. We had a great time.
We took an hour break for lunch and returned to Tip of Texas for an afternoon of C1 dancing to Randy. We were shy of one couple to make four squares. Regina and Charlie showed up so we weren't the only new dancers. We love to dance to Randy but when you're just learning it can be hard because he is so complex. We did a few moves in different positions and the experienced dancers were having problems with the moves. Randy is good at going over it multiple times to make sure the squares get through the call but it can be a little too much for a beginner. We had a fun afternoon with Randy.
In the evening I went over to the recreation hall at J-Five and played Card Bingo. We had twenty-four people playing so the pay backs were 3, 3, 3, 3, 4 & 8. It cost $2 per person. I won the first game and got $3 so I broke even considering I bought a diet Coke. I had a great time.
