Happy Orange |
We had a wonderful day of dancing. We started the day out by attending Bronc's C1 Dance. Bronc wasn't there so Darryl filled in. We had five squares and five extra people. I think I'm getting a little better but I still need help to get through some of the moves. Darryl called a lot of different positions to do a Counter Rotate and sometimes it's hard to see the formation. The dancers and Darryl were very helpful. We had fun.
We had an hour break before we went to Randy's Freaky Friday Dance. Randy had four squares and was one couple shy of making a fifth. This dance is an A dance with a little twist, actually a lot of twist, which makes it challenging. Randy brought his dog Abbey with him, she got a lot of attention. Randy did an excellent job of calling and we had a great time.
On the way home from Randy's dance we stopped by Earth Born Market to pick up more oranges. As we were walking around we saw a sign that said Pineapple Oranges. We weren't sure what they were. I thought maybe the farmer some how grew an orange that tasted like a pineapple. Boy was I wrong. A pineapple orange is a medium size midseason fruit, it is juicy and sweet and has seeds. It was very good.
