Tired |
Today was hot, it almost hit 90 and was very humid. The sun was out and we had beautiful blue skies.
We started the day out by going to Peppermint Palace for their Saturday Pancake Breakfast. Being the first Saturday of the month they also had their Arts & Crafts Show. Dee was there selling her stained glass figures and lights. We swung by her booth and said hi. Then we walked around looking at the other booths. Last month we bought a couple of quilted bowl holders. I use them all the time for soup. You put your bowl in them before you put it in the microwave, when it is heated you pick up the bowl via the bowl holder, this keeps you from burning your fingers, they also insulate the bowl so whatever is in it stays hot longer. I really like them so this morning we bought a few more to use at the house and I'll keep the old ones in the Minnie. We also said hi to a couple ladies (Harriet and Shirley) that we dance with. We listened to the jam session and watched people dance. We had a fun time.
Afterwards we went to HEB and filled the car up with gas. Then we stopped by Walmart to pickup a few things.
In the afternoon we went over to the American Legion Hall and danced C1 to Randy. He had four squares. We had fun and I got to say hi to his dog Abbie.
In the evening we stayed home and read.
