| Keeping Warm |
This morning we woke up to 32 degrees, not nearly as cold as predicted. Larry went online to purchase the postage to ship out Christmas packages. He found that it was less expensive if he shipped the smaller box via the post office and the larger one via UPS. After getting the packages ready we loaded Flo into the car and we went to the UPS Store to drop off the packages.
Our next project was Christmas cards. Last year Larry went to the Walmart website and designed a Christmas card that included pictures of us, this worked great so this year we decided to do it again. The first thing we did was take a picture of the both of us dressed up. Then he chose a few more pictures to put on the card. Once the card was designed Larry sent it to Walmart for processing, it's amazes me that they are ready in a few hours.
Every year we write a Christmas letter telling our friends and family a bit about our year so today was also the day to get that done.
When Larry square dances he uses Dance Socks on his shoes so they can slide. These socks get extremely dirty and must be washed out all the time, they also eventually wear out. He decided maybe he could try putting leather or suede on the soles of his shoes. He experimented by using contact cement and gluing a smooth leather on one pair of shoes and suede on another pair. He found that the smooth leather worked better so he ordered some more leather. The leather arrived yesterday so he decided to put leather on another pair of shoes. Larry has a lot of problems with his feet so he normally dances in tennis shoes, who would have thought you could have leather soled tennis shoes? He only uses these shoes for dancing. While Larry was doing this I worked out with my Wii Fit and Just Dance for an hour.

Once back at the house we watched the PBS News Hour and I finished wrapping Christmas gifts. Then I put in another Harry Potter movie called Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Then we watched our YouTube videos. I played computer games until it was time for bed.
