We had a great day. Larry put another four coats of paint on his shoes, the total now is ten coats. His shoes are looking yellow but he thinks he'll have to put on a few more coats. My shoes took eight coats and are look great. While Larry worked on the shoes I worked on my jig saw puzzle. We received an e-mail from Ruth Ann with the Sundancers weekly newsletter, in the newsletter Larry noticed Brad Caldwell was calling a Teen Scholarship Dance tonight in Austin. Austin is about a 90 minute drive from the house but we decided we would go considering Brad was calling and we haven't danced to him in a very long time. The dance started at 7:00 so we left the house at 5:30. Everyone was happy to see us considering we haven't danced with most of them in months because of A lessons. Brad called seven square dancing tips, two of them were plus level tips. There were eight squares of dancers. In between each tip Kay Kurczewski cued round dancing. They raised $1,100.00 dollars that went to the square dancing scholarship program. We had a fantastic time dancing with friends and socializing with them. Brad did a super job calling and Kay Kurczewski did a great job of cuing.
