We haven't had rain in a long time and this afternoon it finally came. At times the rain came down pretty hard. We hung around the house all day. I had some more pork roast to cook up so I put it in the crock pot and added some liquid smoke. While having lunch Larry received an e-mail saying that the yellow shoe paint was out for
delivery, this was a surprise considering it did not ship via Amazon prime. He
was expecting a bottle of Acrylic Finisher. He decided he was going to work on the project of converting our shoes to yellow. He didn't have the yellow yet so he prepped the shoes by wiping them down with Acetone and then he sanded them to get the shine off them. While Larry was working on the shoes it started to rain, it was very nice to see. As soon as the mailman had come. Larry walked out and got the mail. The yellow shoe paint and the finisher had been delivered. When Larry finished prepping the shoes he began to paint. My shoes started out white and they were easy to convert to yellow. Larry's shoes started out brown and they were more difficult. He started to apply the yellow on the brown and it turned the brown into a green. The brown soaked the paint right up, he applied two coats on both pairs of shoes, he still needs to apply additional coats. Before Larry started to work on this project I worked on my jig saw puzzle.

On Thursdays we go down to Sun City to dance A with the Sundancers. It had been raining all afternoon and at times it came down heavy so Larry was watching the weather. When it was time to get ready for the dance Larry decided we would take a chance and go to Sun City. We left a little early because we had to swing by Flo's vet to pick up some more pain pills. As we were leaving I fed Flo her dinner. When we arrived at Sun City it was early and no one was there, a couple minutes later Belinda and Dorothy showed up. We didn't start setting up chairs until the Sundancers started to show up. We were one couple short of three squares, pretty good for a local A dance. We had a great time and by the time the dance was over the rain had stopped. On the way home we stopped by Which Wich Sandwich Shop. We have never been to one before and we have been talking about trying it out. They had a really good sandwich but we thought the prices were high for what you got, it cost us $9.20 for one 10" grinder, no chips and no drink, just the sandwich. When we pulled in the garage Flo barked so she must have heard us drive up. After saying hi to her I took her out. Then we relaxed for the rest of the evening. We had a great day.
