| Super Saturday |
We had a super day. We started the day out by attending an hour and a half workshop at 10:30. The first tip had 11 squares but most of the time there were 10 squares. We danced every tip with a couple minutes of rest in between the tips. We had a fun morning.
After lunch we went to the afternoon DBD workshop, once again there were ten squares. After the workshop Jerry had a half hour DBD dance. He called two tips and we danced both. The tips were a lot faster and very challenging. We had two great squares and had a blast trying to keep up and do the calls. Even when we did quite get through the moves and broke down it still was fun. We had a four and a half break before the night dance.
In the evening we walked to the hall and danced. There were 13 squares and a few people visiting. There were about 10 couples for round dancing. We sat out one of the tips during the dance so that I could take a few pictures. There was an after party after the dance, where the Log Cabin Swingers Club served nachos. We had a super day of dancing and visiting with friends. Once again Jerry Story and Walter Brewer did an outstanding job of calling and cuing the dance.
