Happy Halloween |

Happy Halloween!!! I woke up early today feeling a lot better. This morning Larry wanted to go get his blood work done so we headed to King's Daughters Clinic in Temple. He signed in and a few minutes later he was taken in the back and gave them some blood.
Our security cameras have been working really well but Larry wants to try lowering the one by the front door, Lowe's was right down the street from the clinic so we swung by and picked up a couple of electrical boxes, covers and a metal pipe. On the way home we went to Jack and Jill and got a couple of cinnamon rolls.
When we got home Larry started working on another project. The other day he ran a test on our network and noticed our internet upload speed was slower than it should be so he wanted to find out why. He found that if he directly connected a computer to the cable modem everything worked perfect. He put the router back into the mix and the problem came back. He installed an older backup router and the problem went away, he now knew it was something in the router. He went to a forum on the router and discovered that a fix he had applied to help our phone service might be causing the problem so he uninstalled the fix and the internet went back to normal. It took a couple of hours but the problem is solved. While he was doing this I worked on my jig saw puzzle. When he finished with the internet problem I made lunch and then I laid down for a nap.
While I was napping Larry worked on building a system to lower the security camera on the porch. The first thing he had to do was to remove the security camera. Then he drilled a hole in the cover plate on one of the boxes. After drilling the hole with the Dremel he assembled the box and cover onto the pipe. Next he took the pipe with the box on it out to the porch to measure how much of the pipe he needed. He returned to his workroom and sawed off what he needed. Afterwards he moved on to drilling the hole in the other cover and assembled the cover to the other box. Next he assembled the other box to the pipe. He returned to the porch to make sure it was the right length. It was perfect the final step he wants to do is paint the boxes and pipe to match the color of the porch cover. Larry had a busy day.

In the evening we met up with Louis and Belinda and went to Allemande Hall for lessons. It was the last lesson on Mondays. The lessons are now going to be on Sundays 5:00 to 7:00. The TIPS Club will continue doing lessons until they're finished with the A2 moves. They hope to be finished by the end of the year. There were only enough people for one square and an extra couple. We weren't introduced to any new moves due to five people being out. Larry and I filled in when they needed us. It was a nice evening visiting with friends.
