2-10 Dentist and Projects

When I went for my dental cleaning I had a sensitive tooth and the dentist found a cavity, today was my appointment for the filling. The dentist was great, he explained exactly what he was going to do and as he went along he continued to tell me what he was doing and why. It didn't take very long to do the job but he told me not to eat anything until the numbness went away which would be a couple of hours.

While we were in town we swung by Sunbelt RV Center to get a water entry valve for the Minnie. The old one was corroded and Larry needs to replace it. Sunbelt had a replacement part, it was not exactly the same but he thought it would work so we bought it.

The interior of the closet in the Minnie has always been dark and we have to turn on a light in the living area to try and see inside, sometimes it is still too dark. Larry has been wanting to install a light inside the closet, he actually bought a small battery operated one a few months ago but it did not put out enough light. When he installed the light strip in our master bath he ordered an extra strip that he planned to install in the Minnie closet. To make it work the way he wants he needs a switch, he wants the switch to work like the car door switch, when you open the door the light will go on and when you close the door the light will go off. We stopped by The Home Depot but they didn't have what we needed, too bad Radio Shack went out of business.
After lunch Larry started his water entry valve replacement. He found out that the hole in the Minnie was too big for the new valve. He was going to make a plate to fix the problem but he really preferred to keep it original so he went to Amazon and found a valve exactly like our old one and ordered it, should be here Friday. While he was on Amazon he ordered a switch for the light and it should be here Friday.

In the evening we streamed Crazy, which was a movie about Hank Garland. Hank was one of the first guitar virtuosos in Nashville. We didn't like it at all. We had a busy day.
