Christmas at home |
We started the day off by going to town to do a bit more Christmas shopping. While in town we mailed a package to Kansas, one down one to go. When we got home I wrapped gifts and put up our Christmas tree. It took me three hours to decorate it. It's beginning to look like Christmas in our house. Tomorrow I'll finish decorating the house.

In the evening Larry and I went to Copperas Cove to attend the Double C's Christmas Dance. Usually in December they do a toys for tots dance but this year they had their can food drive. They had their toys for tots in November. The entrance fee to the dance was five cans of food per person or $5.00. The money also went to the organization so they can buy other food. The drive was very successful. There were three mainstream squares and one plus square. In between Betsy calling the square tips Dorothy cued round dancing. I brought a cinnamon crumb cake but ended up bringing most of it back home, they had a lot of food. We enjoyed dancing and visiting with our friends.
