Gift for Flo

Flo is getting old and her back legs are giving out more often, we don't have any carpeting in the house and she's having trouble getting up off the floor. She doesn't have problems getting up off the ceramic tile but on the laminate floor it's another story. Larry and I have put rugs where she lays to help her get up but to keep cool she lays directly on the floor so she has problems. We have been looking at area rugs for awhile and the other day we decided we needed to get one soon. After looking at Walmart, Target and The Home Depot we found a couple of rugs that we could live with but we decided to do a little research on the internet first. When we got home Larry got on the internet, he found some nice reasonably priced and the one we liked had pretty good reviews. We ordered the Dark Red Traditional rug. We received the rug today, it feels soft and looks great. The problem we saw at once was that it slides very easily so we need to put down a pad. The chemicals in the rug was real strong so we had to put it outside to air it out for awhile. 

During the day we watched a few shows on the TWIT channel. Before You Buy employees review products, makes a video on the product and suggest if you should try, buy or don't buy, GIZ WIZ is where Dick DeBartolo and Chad Johnson features silly, unique and crazy gadgets and gizmos, fan letters and videos. All About Androids hosted by Jason Howell and Ron Richards, they talk about Android devices and the applications for them. All of these shows are very informative and they are weekly programs. In the evening we watched two HBO documentaries, Hard Times - Lost on Long Island and Friends of God - A Road Trip with Alexandra Pelosi. Lost on Long Island was about people on unemployment and their struggle to find a job, it was very good. Friends of God was about the evangelical Christians movement. After watching the documentaries Larry and I went to Sonic for a half price shake for dessert. We hadn't had a shake at Sonic for years and we were surprised that they added many more flavors. Larry had a chocolate shake and I had an Oreo cream cheese shake they were delicious.
