Today we left the coast and went to the mountains. Our journey was 200 miles, where we saw miles and miles of agricultural fields and vineyards. As we drove by we saw people working the fields. I was surprised that the farmers still use so many field workers. Most of the workers were picking strawberries what a back breaking job. We also drove by San Luis Reservoir, which was very nice.

By the time we started up the mountain it was starting to get a little hot but when we got to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks it was cooling off. Before going to the campground we stopped at Grant Grove Village to go to the Visitor Center. While there Larry picked up information on hiking trails, we watched a movie on the park and walked around the exhibit area. Afterwards we went to Azalea Campground to get a site for a couple of days. No problem finding a site. We chose one right by the restroom with running water. After setting up camp we sat in our chairs and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon. Occasionally we did take Flo on walks. Life is definitely good.
