Sandia Resort and Casino
We checked the weather and found out it was going to rain for the next week so we decided to leave Colorado and go to New Mexico. We drove 290 miles to Sandia Resort and Casino, which was on the San Felipe Pueblo Reservation about 10 miles outside of Albuquerque. The drive was very long through the desert and plains occasionally we saw pretty mountains ranges. Sandia Resort and Casino facility had a casino, hotel, golf course and spa and the landscape was xeriscape and extremely well maintained. There are many casinos in the area but we decided to stay at Sandia because it was bigger and had the biggest nonsmoking room in New Mexico. While there I gambled and had a great time playing some slots that I hadn’t played on before. It was great not smelling of smoke when I got back to Larry and Flo. I highly recommend Sandia Resort and Casino I would give it 5 stars.
A mountain range we saw
Driving from Colorado to New Mexico is a pretty long trip. I hope you guys had a great time at the hotel and casino, as they offer a lot of facilities for activities and such. Anyway, thanks for sharing this with us. Have a great day!
