Tuesday 7-29-25 Dancing A2, Puzzle, Reading & Workout

 

Hot Day

 

We had a hot day. It got to 99 degrees at 5:00. Here in Central Texas we still haven't broken 100 degrees, which is very rare considering it's the middle of the summer. We stayed at home and kept cool under the air conditioner.

We started the day out by attending Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly A2 dance at 10:00 for an hour. Di and Terry took turns calling five tips to 9 participants. Larry danced four of the tips with me. During the fourth tip Di worked on Turn and Deal (Right and Left). We had a super time dancing to Di and Terry.

I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Klondike Mini of 10 games. It took me 54 minutes and 18 seconds, which put me in 35th place in my group. I played Angry Birds and Angry Birds and Friends.

After lunch I worked out on my Wii Fit for a half hour, Gold's Gym for a half hour and Synth Riders for a half hour.

I played two games of Monster Manor on Bounce Arcade. I earned a bronze trophy in both games. The first game I woke the manor and failed to stun the manor. I also bust the banister. The second game I woke the manor, stunned the manor, earned the skeleton key and bust the banister. I earned the skeleton key by fighting the jack-o-lanterns. Best game was the second game. I had fun playing Monster Manor.

Larry spent the day reading.

I played seven games of pinball. They were Star Trek the Next Generation, Indianapolis 500, Willy Wonka, Cactus Canyon, The Tales of the Arabian Nights, Dark Chaos and Ripley's Believe It or Not. While playing Indianapolis 500 I entered my initials as high score #1. I came in close to having a new high score for the weekly challenge of Ripley's Believe It or Not.

I worked on my puzzle called Birdhouses.

In the evening we continued watching the second season of The Wheel of Time. After Larry went to bed I watched the seventh Mission Impossible, which was Mission Impossible- Dead Reckoning Part One. I did 5,000 steps.
