Tuesday 7-22-25 Dancing to Di and Terry, Games, Puzzle & New Reader

 

Smile and have fun

We had a very nice Tuesday. It was a beautiful day with sunshine and the high of 98 degrees. There was a small breeze.

We started the day off attending Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly A2 dance at 10:00 for an hour. It was nice to see them back from their trip to the United States. We enjoyed meeting them at the convention in San Francisco. Di called the whole dance, which was five tips to 8 participants. Terry didn't feel well enough to call but he danced with her. Larry danced four of the tips with me. We had a super time.

Larry has been watching YouTube videos on different book readers. He has also been researching them via the web. He ordered one of them on Amazon, it is a 7" e-ink device. It should be here Thursday. He download an e-reader program on his tablet and loaded some of his e-books on it. He's playing with it to get familiar with it. He's having a great time playing with the program and watching videos on them. There are a lot of people who own multiple e-readers and love most of them. They use them for different things.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: World Tour Mini of 10 games. It took me 1 hour, 50 minutes and 48 seconds, which put me in 23rd place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds and Angry Birds and Friends.

I worked out with the Synth Riders for a half hour. Then I played three games of Gunpowder Gulch. I didn't play very well. The third game I earned a silver trophy. I played the Quick Draw (2), Barrel Barred (2), Gunfight (1) and Cracked the Safe (1). I ended up cracking the safe and I played the Saloon Multiball and the Jailhouse Break Multiball. I had fun.

I played four games of pinball. I played Big Buck Hunter Pro (1), Fish Tales (2), Big Bang Bar (1) and Dracula (5). I didn't get on the board playing pinball but I had fun.

I worked on my jigsaw puzzle (birdhouses).

In the evening we started watching a series on Amazon called The Wheel of Time. The first episode of the first season started was very slow and the second episode was better. We'll continue watching to see where it goes. It has been on Amazon for three seasons. Then I watched Alice Through the Looking Glass. I did 3,500 steps.
