Thursday 7-17-25 Mowing, Games, Reading & Puzzle

We had a wonderful Thursday. I'm feeling much better. I might be over this. Unfortunately Larry has not fully recovered. He is feeling better but still a bit under the weather.

After lunch he went outside and mowed the frontyard. Last week when the the mowers came they cut the yards very short. After he finished mowing he said, that the frontyard wasn't as bad as it looked. Now it looks great.

I did my daily challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Pyramid Mini of five games. It took me 15 minutes and 41 seconds, which put me in 27th place in my group. I played some Angry Birds.

 

I worked on my jigsaw puzzle of the birdhouses.

 

I played seven games of pinball. I did the weekly challenge of Truck Stop and was unsuccessful in getting a new high score but had fun trying. Then I played six games developed by Marty. They were Rambo, Jaws, Willy Wonka, The Godfather, Superman and the Justice League and Mission Impossible. I entered my initials in Rambo as high score #4, Jaws high score #3, Willy Wonka high score #1 and Superman and the Justice League high score #2. I didn't get on the board in Mission Impossible. I had a super afternoon playing pinball.

I worked out with my Wii Fit for a half hour. It had been 21 days since I did.

I played two games of Asteroid Outpost on Bounce Arcade. I earned a bronze trophy and a silver trophy. During the silver trophy game I mined the asteroids seven different times and was successful in mining the asteroids twice. I played two multiballs. I had fun.

 In the evening we watched Inferno out of our movies collection. When Larry went to bed I watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix out of our movies collection. 

 

We had a good day. Hopeful Larry will feel better tomorrow.
