Saturday 7-19-25 Trip Research, Games & Synth Riders

 

Hanging out

 

We had a laid back day. We just hung around the house. One of those days where I didn't feel like doing anything. 

In a bit over a month we will be heading out on our Fall Trip. We're thinking about going to Canada. Today Larry looked at what we will need to do for cell phone and internet access if we do go there.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: World Tour Mini of 10 games. it took me 34 minutes and 36 seconds, which put me in 13th place in my group. I played Angry Birds and Angry Birds and Friends.

After lunch I was feeling good so I decided to workout with the Synth Riders for a half hour. Then I played two Pirate's Plunder on the Bounce Arcade. The second game was my best game. I earned a silver trophy and defeated my enemies twice. I got the Jolly Roger twice and earned an extra ball. I played Bounce Arcade for a half hour.

While I was playing Bounce Arcade Larry watched some YouTube videos. He had to be careful when he walked in front of me because I was moving my arms around to hit the balls to play the game. I was playing Bounce Arcade and the Synth Riders in VR so I had my headset on. A few weeks ago Larry bought a new face piece for my headset. With the old one I could not see anything outside of the VR world, with this one I can see outside a bit and told him be careful I might hit him. The openings in the new face piece also make it cooler.

I played seven different games of pinball. I played the weekly challenge of Truck Stop, I didn't get a new high score so I'm in 31st place out of 58 participants. The other six were Metallica (2), Playboy (2), The Lord of the Rings (2), World Tour Joker Poker (2), Star Trek the Next Generation (1) and Spider-Man (1). While playing the second game of Playboy I collected all 12 playmates and played Mansion Mania so I entered my initials as a champion. I had fun.

Larry thinks next weeks pinball challenge will be Dracula, he downloaded and installed it on the cabinet in both 2D and VR. Of course until they announce it you don't know for sure. I'll play it tomorrow.

In the evening we watched Star Trek out of our movies collection. Then I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I.
