Friday 7-25-25 E-Reader, Games, Dancing A2 & Pizza Night

Doing the happy dance

It's Friday celebrate. I hope you have a great weekend.

We have been having allergy problems so this morning Larry installed a UV light in the air conditioner system to help the air quality. This involved cutting a couple of holes in the duct from the air conditioner, installing the unit and plugging it in. In the Afternoon a relay he ordered arrived. He installed it next to the UV light and wired it into the AC system. Now the UV lights will only be on when the fan for the AC or heater is on. This will help with the life of the UV bulbs.

Larry continued playing with the e-reader program. He installed it on the new E-Ink (new e-reader) and continued learning more about how it works and how to configure it. He compared how his Kindle looks compare to the E-Ink. We think the writing on the Kindle is crisper and has less ghosting. But both devices still read very well. The E-Ink device is a little bigger and the back has a texture which helps you hold onto it. He thinks he'll enjoy reading on either device.

Reading is fun

I continued working on the Birdhouses puzzle.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Klondike and 3 Spider). It took me 20 minutes and 5 seconds to complete, which put me in 31st place in my group. I played Angry Birds.

Later on I played one game of Asteroid Outpost on the Bounce Arcade. I earned a silver trophy. I mined seven times and was successful in mining two times. I played a multiball. I had a great time playing Asteroid Outpost.

I played seven pinball games. They were Monster Bash (1), Indianapolis 500 (1), Mustang (1), Dracula (2), Attack From Mars (3), Cactus Canyon (2) and The Lord of the Rings (1). I played Attack From Mars before I was satisfied with my score. While playing Mustang I entered my initials in as high score #3. When I played Dracula my new high score in the weekly challenge was 150,522,610, which put me in 33rd place out of 47 participants.

For dinner we had a frozen pepperoni pizza. At 6:30 I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 dance for an hour. She called four tips to 11 participants. Ett helped dancer by telling them where they should be and what formation. I had a fun time.

Get up and dance

After the dance we continued watching the first season of The Wheel of Time on Amazon. Then I watched Mission Impossible III from our movies collection.
