Sunday 7-27-25 Dancing with Loren, New Pinball Challenge & More

 

Awesome Day

We had an awesome day.

We attended Ett McAtee's Weekly C Series dance at 1:00 for an hour. This week Ett was traveling to Texas for a caller school in the Houston area so Loren Smith from Canada filled in for her. Loren called four tips of C1 to 9 participants. Larry danced with me for three tips. He is still not feeling 100%. Loren likes it when a couple or two show up because he can call to them. When Larry left he still had Cindy and Barry from Canada to watch. We had a super time dancing to Loren, he called some full square moves, which aren't usually called virtually. The last tip he workshopped Relay The Top, which is a full square call. He walked us through the move a few times and in different position. It's always a pleasure to dance to Loren and with friends.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: World Tour Mini of 10 games. It took me 49 minutes and 36 seconds, which put me in 19th place in my group. I played Angry Birds and Angry Birds and Friends.

Today is the beginning of a new week so I have a new Weekly Challenge in pinball. This week the challenge is Ripley's Believe It or Not. We didn't have the game so Larry downloaded and installed it in both 2D and VR. He played it to make sure it worked correctly. Later on I played the game and got my first high score for the week of 8,958,560. This puts me in 3rd place out of 7 participants. I didn't play last week challenge of Dracula so my high score for the week was 150,522,610, which put me in 49th place out of 73 participants.

Later on I played six other games. They were Creature From the Black Lagoon (2), Red & Ted's Road Show, Star Trek the Next Generation, Big Buck Hunter Pro, Fish Tales (2) and Fun House. While playing Fish Tales I entered my initials of high score #2 and the biggest lair.

I worked out with the Synth Rider for a half hour. I played Monster Manor three times because I didn't play well. I earned two bronze trophies and the first one was the best score. But the second one I woke the manor and stunned the manor. The first bronze trophy I woke the manor twice but failed to stun the manor and crashed the banister. I didn't play too well but I had fun.

I continued working on my birdhouses puzzle.

In the evening we continued watching the second season of The Wheel of Time on Amazon. After Larry went to bed I watched Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation ( Mission Impossible #5).
