Monday 3-10-25 Dancing, Jukebox, Diamond Painting & More

 Beautiful Monday

  

We had a beautiful Monday with sunshine and the high of 70 degrees.

Larry spent the day working on the Rowe jukebox. He was having problems with the power turning off. The jukebox runs using a Raspberry Pi and it can only handle a certain amount of current before shutting down. He added another relay so he could divert the power for the monitor away from the Pi. He's worked very hard solving the problem.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Experts Only Mini of 5 games. It took me 1 hour, 29 minutes and 4 seconds, which put me in 22nd place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

For the next couple of weeks Di Green and Terry McCann's weekly C1 will be at 10:00 instead of 9:00 until the UK changes their time on the 30th. Larry and I attended the dance today. Di called five tips of C1 to 14 participants. Larry danced three tips because he wasn't feeling well. Di is a great caller because the dance she calls, dances with Terry and cues through the dance. We were very grateful to this because she gets us in the correct place. We had a super time dancing with friends.

After the dance we had lunch. Then I worked out with the Wii Fit for 45 minutes.

I played three games of Pirate's Plunder in Bounce Arcade. The first game I earned a bronze trophy and the third game I earned a silver trophy. During the silver trophy game I defeated my enemies three times, which earned a ship. I got a couple of Jolly Rogers and hit the skulls. I earned an extra ball in both trophy games. I had a great time playing Pirate's Plunder.

In the morning Larry changed the number of balls from 5 to 3 in Cactus Canyon so I could play it for the weekly challenge. My first high score for the week was 52,708,810, which will put me in 7th place out of 22 participants when it is approved. Then I played three other games. They were Guardians of the Galaxy, Mission Impossible and The Big Lebowski. While playing Guardians of the Galaxy I became Grand Champion. When I played Mission Impossible I was high score #1 and Larry is still Grand Champion. I had an outstanding day of playing pinball.

In the evening we watched Sonic on Paramount +. It was a cute movie about blue hedgehog, from another planet. Then I watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade out of our movies collection. Afterwards I started watching a detective series on Acorn called Bloodlands. It takes place in Ireland. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 2nd place in my group.
