Friday 3-14-25 Started Preparing for Spring Trip & More

 

It's Friday celebrate

 

Today was another warm day with the high of 92 degrees and wind. We're still on a high wind and fire alert. 

We started the day out by going to the storage center to get the Minnie. It's almost time for our Spring Trip. We're not sure where we're going but as normal we will wander around and see what we find. We hope to start out around March 23rd, after Spring break is over here in Texas. Before each trip we retrieve the Minnie early to get it ready to go.

When we got the Minnie home Larry plugged it in to power. The Minnie was filthy, after our fall trip we did the needed maintenance and then put it in storage without washing it. Today Larry cleaned the overhead, the cab and wheels, these areas looked the worst because of all the bugs. He worked on it for 2-3 hours.

While Larry worked on the Minnie I did the event, which was Event: Easy Street Mini of 15 games. It took me 34 minutes and 32 seconds, which put me in 17th place in my group. I played Angry Birds. I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong.

I worked out with the Wii Fit for a half hour. 

I played a game of Gunpowder Gulch in Bounce Arcade. I earned a silver trophy. I played the Saloon multi-ball, jailhouse escape multi-ball and the safe break multi-ball. I cracked the safe. I had a super game.

I played four games of pinball. They were Cactus Canyon, JP's Space Cadet, Red & Ted's Road Show and Rambo. While playing Rambo I entered my initials as high score #4.

I started loading the Minnie up with dry food for our trip. I made a grocery list for our home delivery from Walmart. The list was for our trip and for home. It was delivered in the evening.

In the evening I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 dance at 6:30 for an hour. She called five tips to 14 participants. She called a lot of left-handed moves. She called left-handed motivate a lot of times. I had fun dancing with friends.

While I danced Larry did more experimenting with addressable led's (lights). Yesterday he worked with a sound sensor and could not get it to work, he was convinced it was a defective return. He ordered some replacements and sure enough they worked fine. Next up is to get the lights to light up due to sound. He is having fun.

After the dance we watched a couple episodes of Elementary. I watched Alice in Wonderland from our movies collection. Then I watched a couple of episodes of the second season of Bloodlands. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 3rd place in my group.
