Gorgeous Day
We had a gorgeous day. It got up to 82 degrees and no wind.
We spent most of the day in Round Rock visiting with Louise and playing with Alice (her dog). We left the house around 7:45 am.
On the way to Louise's house we stopped by Jack 'n' Jill Donuts for breakfast. When we got to Georgetown we stopped at the Home Depot to buy screws Larry needed for his jukebox project. We also bought a flapper for Louise's toilet because her toilet was running after she flushes. Then we went to Louise's house.
During our visit Larry did some brother dos. First he looked at her toilet. He was going to replace the flapper but he found he only needed to adjust the water level a bit. Now it works correctly. He told Louise to keep the flapper because she may need it later on and it won't work for any of our toilets.
Next he moved onto her Roku in her bedroom. The Roku device allows her to stream things to her TV. When Larry called her last night she mentioned, that the one in her bedroom had run out of memory. He checked it out and tried to update it. It crashed and would not turn back on. He had brought along our old Fire TV device, he replaced the Roku with it. It works great. He moved onto the Fire TV in the living room. Louise was having trouble getting a couple of channels to work on it. Larry rebooted her router and now that one works.
The third project was her working on her home phone. The device that she used in the past no longer works with Google Voice. Larry set her up with a different device, it seems to work well for incoming calls but not for placing calls. She's happy because she uses her cell phone most of the time.
Doing brother dos
For lunch I baked a pepperoni pizza that Louise bought from Papa Murphy's. We had barbecue chips to go with it. For dessert we had oatmeal cookies. The pizza was good.
While Larry did his projects I worked on Louise's jigsaw puzzle and played with Alice. We had very nice visit with Louise and Alice.
On the way home we stopped by the UPS Store to mail out a couple of monitors back to Amazon. While there he checked our mail. Then we went across the street to Dollar Tree and bought some cookies and bleach. We were home by 3:30.
Home Sweet Home
When we got home I played games. I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before going to bed last night. Today's event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 10 games (5 Spider and 5 Free Cell). It took me took me 1 hour, 7 minutes and 58 seconds, which put me in 15th place in my group. Then I played Angry Bird.
I played seven different games of pinball. The games were White Water, Dead Pool, Theatre of Magic, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Elvira Party Monsters and Robocop.

In the evening we watched a movie on Amazon called Quartet, it was based on a true story. It was about a retirement home for retired musicians. It was a cute movie and very entertaining. Then I finished watching the first season of Sherwood on BritBox. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.
