Saturday 3-15-25 Washing the Minnie, Lighting Project & Games

 

Busy Saturday

 

We had a beautiful sunny day with a strong wind. A front came through early this morning about 3 with a strong wind, which woke Larry up. I must have been sleeping very deeply because I slept through it. Usually I'm a lite sleeper and it would have woken me.

Larry got up at 6:00 and did his morning routine. Then he made breakfast, which was cinnamon french toast sticks. I woke up at 8:00 and was pleasantly surprised. Thank you honey. He was outside working on the Minnie. 

Larry spent the morning washing the Minnie. He started by doing the roof, which always takes some time because of all the vents located on the roof. Then he worked on the back. He continued washing on the sides. He had to rewash the cab because the wind had brought in a lot of dust and pollen from the oak trees. While he washed the Minnie I kept him company. I didn't have to dry the Minnie because the wind dried it.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before going to bed. I did the event, which was Event: Medium Mayhem of 27 games. It took me 1 hour, 25 minutes and 14 seconds, which put me in 13th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

I worked out on my Wii Fit for a half hour. In the evening I did a Jazz routine, that I had learned years ago to do.

I continued put more dry stuff in the Minnie.

I played one game of Asteroid Outpost on Bounce Arcade, which took me 45 minutes to earn a silver trophy. I mined the asteroids five different times and succeeded two times. This was the first time I ever was successful twice. I played a multiball. I had a great game.

I played seven games of pinball. They were Cactus Canyon, Lord of the Rings, Mission Impossible, Medieval Madness and three James Bond games (Dr. No, 60th Anniversary and Goldeneye). I did get a new high score in the games but I had a super time.

After Larry rested from washing the Minnie he went back to working on the LED lighting. He got the LED lights to work by sound using the Pi Pico. It is very sensitive to sound. He ran it all night and the lights lite when ever we talked and they heard the television.

In the evening we watched Elementary. Then I watched Alice Through the Looking Glass. I also finished watching the second and final season of Bloodlands. It wasn't the best detective series I have ever seen. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 5th place in my group.
